It is a story of n retired police officer Thakur Baldev Singh (Sanjeev Kumar) who arrests a notorious bandit Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan). Gabbar Singh runs from the jail and kills Thakur Baldev Singh’s family and cuts off Thakur’s both the hands. To take revenge, Thakur takes help of two young and dashing men who are small time thieves, Jai (amitabh) and Veeru(dharmendra) to grab Gabbar Singh. Sholay was listed in the top movies list in 1970s although the film was released on 15th August 1975. 50th annual Filmfare Awards named it the Best Film of last 50 Years. Kaalia is a 1981 Bollywood action film starring Amitabh bachchan as Kaalia. It is a story of a common man who is forced to join the criminal world. Kaalia lives with his elder brother (Kadar Khan), sister-in-law (Asha Parekh), and their little daughter. He is a young man who spends time playing with small kids. His brother loses his hands in a factory accident. So he begs to the factory owner(Amjad Khan) to help him, but he refuses. When Kaalia’s brother dies, the factory owner throws Kaalia in jail for nine months. So he deicides to take revenge of the factory owner by becoming a criminal. The film was a great hit.
